As Tournament Co-Directors for the Seaside Classic Soccer Tournament, we would like to personally welcome you to our 21st Anniversary event over the the weekend of July 14-15, 2012!

Every year, we’ve tried to make this tournament the best that you attend during the entire season!  We work to ensure the level of competition is at its highest, the facilities are arranged to your satisfaction, the officiating is top-notch and that you are aware of the wonderful setting surrounding you, the beautiful south coast of Rhode Island.

This year we have lots of exciting news.  Whether your team has participated in premier level matches throughout the United States and internationally or a team which aspires to reach the next level of competitiveness, we will introduce you to the most appropriate levels of competition to stretch your abilities.  To date, we have accepted a broad range of teams from Canada and across eight USYS Region 1 state associations. 

Once again, we are fortunate to be playing on the campus of the University of Rhode Island in beautiful and historic Kingston with its acres upon acres of organic sod fields.  Additionally, we’ve lined up an excellent list of vendors to provide tournament participants with healthy foods (as well as the American classics), soccer apparel, and fun activities to keep everyone entertained.   We’ve also arranged for ‘Soccer Aspect’ to provide video and analysis services to those players and coaches that want to use video as a tool to improve performance and/or market one’s talents to college coaches.  We continue to draw many college coaches coming from within the Northeast region and beyond interested in watching the matches taking place within our very competitive college showcase divisions.
